CENTRALIA — Second Missionary Baptist church Committee is hosting their 37th Annual Dr.Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Celebration program at 5 p.m. Sunday, January 15th at the Second Missionary Baptist Church in Centralia.

Anyone and everyone are welcome. The guest speaker for this year’s celebration is Mrs. Mel’Danci Robinson from Pearland, Texas.

Mel’Danci was born in Centralia and attended the Centralia City Schools for a time. Her family then relocated to Washington D.C. where she completed her education.  Mel’Danci is the daughter of Bunny Garrett and the late Melvin Stalls.

She is a published author of inspirational poetry, an accomplished singer, owns and operates her own travel agency (Robinson Dream Travel) as well as her own Event and Decorating business.

She is employed as Logistic Director at the nationally known law firm of Androphy and Berg based in Houston, Texas.

Come out and see what she has to share regarding Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s dream in America today. There will be a reception of Punch and cake after the program.
