WALTONVILLE — A 22-year-old Centralia man was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon Tuesday for injuries he suffered in a rollover crash in Waltonville.
David Wilson was reportedly driving his 1995 Dodge Dakota southbound on Hall Lane just around midnight Tuesday when in the 6600 block of North Hall Lane he lost control of his vehicle, which struck a guardrail and then rolled over onto its side in a creek.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Wilson was initially unable to get out of the vehicle but was able to keep his head above water.
His condition is unknown at this time, but he was cited for driving under the influence and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
