FAYETTE COUNTY — A 50-year-old Herrick man has been charged in Fayette County court with predatory criminal sexual assault of a victim under the age of 13.

Bail for Roger Seaton was set at $150,000 after he was arrested last week on a warrant charging him with three counts Class X felony predatory criminal sexual assault in that he allegedly committed three separate acts of sexual penetration on a female victim under the age of 13.

Seaton posted $15,000 cash bond and was released from the Fayette County jail. Special conditions of his release from jail include having no contact with the victim or her mother.

Judge Kevin Parker recused himself from the case due to conflict. The case is next scheduled in court March 14. If convicted Seaton could face between 6 and 60 years in prison on each count.
