CARBONDALE, Ill. — Law enforcement is looking for a 22-year-old Carbondale man wanted in connection with the shooting death Thursday night of a 19-year-old Johnston City man.

According to police, at approximately 5:29 p.m., Thursday, Carbondale officers responded to a report of a shooting.
Upon their arrival, officers found Javon Trott with possible life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Trott was identified and was immediately transported to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale by ambulance where he was later pronounced dead.
During the course of the investigation, detectives sought and received an arrest warrant with a $1 million bail charging Jarrell J. Pullen with First Degree Murder.
The investigation revealed the victim and suspect were acquaintances and were engaged in an altercation prior to the shooting.
Pullen has not been located and should be considered armed and dangerous.
