JEFFERSON COUNTY — A 30-year-old Centralia man suffered non-life-threatening injuries early Monday morning when he was involved in a one-car crash on Interstate 64 in Jefferson County.

According to Illinois State Police, Raymond D. Rorie was traveling westbound at milepost 73 around 12:30 Monday morning when he lost control of his 2006 Toyota sedan and struck the concrete guard rail.

Rorie was taken from the scene by ambulance to Crossroads Hospital in Mt. Vernon, with what are described as non-life-threatening injuries.

He’s been cited for driving under the influence and improper driving on the shoulder.
