Michael Bartley pleaded guilty Thursday to a Class 2 felony charge of delivery of less than 5-grams of methamphetamine.

Bartley was one of seven people arrested in a drug sweep last summer that stemmed from a multi-agency drug investigation led by the South Eastern Illinois Drug Task Force.

In addition to the six year prison term, Bartley was ordered to complete three years of mandatory supervised release.

After handing down the sentence, Judge Mark Stedelin denied Bartley’s request for a furlough.

Bartley had previously been sentenced to ten years in prison in 2005 after pleading guilty to possession of 100 to 400 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine.
