CENTRALIA — Kaskaskia College has announced that recent updates from the Department of Education now allow for students who have utilized all of their Pell Grant Award for an academic year to receive additional Pell Grant funds for the summer semester, providing that they meet certain eligibility criteria.

Based on the criteria, students may be eligible to receive an additional Pell Grant for the summer 2019 semester.  In order to receive these funds, they must be enrolled in at least 6 financial aid eligible credits towards their degree or certificate for the summer 2019 semester as well as have completed both the 18-19 and 19-20 FAFSA and qualify for Pell in both years.
