CLINTON COUNTY — A 23-year-old Centralia man was sentenced Wednesday in Clinton County court to 10 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to one on seven meth-related charges contained in two separate cases.

Blake A. Ross was facing five Class X felonies for aggravated delivery of less than five grams of methamphetamine from a protected structure in one case and Class X felony delivery of between 15 and 100 grams of meth and Class 1 felony possession of the same amount of meth in an earlier case.
Ross pleaded guilty to one of the Class X aggravated delivery charges in exchange for a 10-year prison sentence and the other six charges being dismissed.
He’s remained in the Clinton County Jail since his September arrest that was the result of a law enforcement operation involving multiple agencies including an ILEAS response team.
A total of five people were charged in Clinton County Court in connection with that incident on an assortment of felony meth-related offenses.
