Eula Evelyn Mulvaney, 91, of Mt. Vernon, went to her Heavenly home on Thursday, August 4, 2022.

She was born on June 14, 1931, in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of Frank and Nellie (Tinsley) Mulvaney, and the sister of Nina Marie Mulvaney.

She was a farmer, and though it was hard work, it gave her more character.  She enjoyed life on the farm, and loved the land and its history.  She had horses, cows, chickens, and a nice garden.  She would can what she could, and also made her own clothing.

She enjoyed listening to the birds singing in the morning, and the frogs at night, and loves listening to Radar and Fozie bray when they saw her come out of the house.  She loved having friends, neighbors, and family stop by, and it always brought a smile to her face.  She lived a wonderful life, and was ready for God to call her home to be with Jesus and her family.

Eula is survived by her beloved cattle dog, Porkchop, her cat, Percy, and many loved neighbors, friends, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her very much loved sister, Nina.

A private burial service for Eula was held at Old Union Cemetery, and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.  Online condolences may be made at www.osbornfuneral.com, or on the Osborn Funeral Home Facebook page.
