Diana Kay Riley, 78, of Marion, and formerly of Dix, passed away at 4:35 a.m., Friday, November 25, 2022, at Integrity Healthcare in Marion.

She was born March 27, 1944, in St. Elmo, Illinois, the daughter of Phoy E. “Bud” and Willie Geraldine (Robertson) Bryant.  She was a graduate of Mt. Vernon Township High School, and worked in the Jefferson County Treasurer’s Office, and later in the  Jefferson County Circuit Clerk’s Office, where she served as Deputy Circuit Clerk, until her retirement.  She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Temple, where she served as pianist for many years.

Diana is survived by two sons, Jim Riley and wife Pam of Marion, and Tim Riley and wife Sherri of Mulkeytown, Illinois;  nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Riley, Abigail Amoros and her husband Caleb and their daughter Aria, Gabrielle Riley, Brenna Riley, Ian Riley, Calli Riley, Kaleb Riley and wife Julie and their daughter Lily, Emilee Riley, and Tyler Riley;  and siblings, Tom Bryant and wife Carolyn of Lincoln, Illinois, and Pat Eveland and husband Glen of Holmen, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two infant grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Riley will be held at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Wednesday, November          30, 2022, at Osborn Funeral Home in Dix, with Rev. Tom Bryant officiating.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m., until the hour of service, at the funeral home.  Memorial gifts may be made to Pleasant Hill Cemetery, and will be accepted at the service, or by mail to the Osborn Funeral Home, P.O.
