Patricia A. Lockwood, 73, of Woodlawn, Illinois, passed away at 6:49 pm January 18, 2023 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon. She was born July 23, 1949 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to Alfred and Mary (Heilig) Koy. Patricia married John “Rusty” Lockwood on March 7, 1970 in Boyd, Illinois.

Patricia is survived by her mother, Mary Koy of Woodlawn, Illinois; daughter, Margaret Lockwood of Livingston, Montana; son, John R. Lockwood, III of Woodlawn, Illinois; brother, Raymond Koy of Woodlawn, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father and husband, Patricia was preceded in death by her brother, Tony Koy and nephew, Allen Koy.

Patricia was a member of Fouts Christian Church and Waltonville Homemakers. She was a loving mother and sister and will be dearly missed.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Graveside Service will be held Monday, January 23, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Mount Catherine Cemetery in Woodlawn, Illinois with Mr. Jerry Wilson officiating. Interment will follow. Memorials may be made in Patricia’s honor to the Lockwood Family in care of Margaret Lockwood.
