CENTRALIA — Cecelia Felice Hill-Prince, affectionately known as “Co-Co”, was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 19, 1976, to James Bradley, Jr. and Cheryl Hill and departed this life on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 12:30 a.m. in the SSM Health Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon, Illinois at the age of 46 years, after a lingering illness.

Although born in Chicago, in her infancy she moved with her parents to Centralia, where she was educated in the Centralia Grade Schools and then graduated from Centralia High School in the class of 1994.
Her religious foundation was established at the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Centralia, where she was baptized as a child. Her love for the Lord prompted her to continue building upon that foundation in her continuous reading, watching and listening to various ministries via YouTube. This she maintained until her demise.
Expanding her horizons prompted her to leave Southern Illinois and migrate to the South, Savannah, Georgia, where she later met and married Keith Prince. This union ended in divorce. Upon leaving Georgia she returned back to Centralia, which she called home until her death.
She was an “avid chatter”, which found her to be on the phone, texting or calling, on social media, Facebook, Instagram, Snap Chat and Tik-Tok. She did it all. Some of her hobbies included: traveling, cooking, being an avid reader, and a lover of all kinds of music, but especially Praise and Worship.

Her memories will forever be kept and fondly cherished deeply by her mother, Cheryl Hill-Fleming, and her husband, Maurice Felming, Sr. of Centralia, IL; three brothers: Maurice Fleming, Jr. of Lexington, KY, James LeSuere of Mt. Vernon, IL and Xavier Bradley of Marion, IL; a sister, Jordan Bradley along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends and a very special friend, Timothy Lee of Centralia.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Bradley, Jr., her paternal grandparents, James Bradley, Sr., and Alice Gray; her maternal grandparents, Lawrence “Bear” Wilson, and Cecelia Hill; an uncle, Rodney”Bear” Hill; along with a host of aunts and uncles.

Per Co-Co’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and no public services will be held. Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home and Cremation Services at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, 618-532-3523, are honored to be of service to Co-Co’s family.
