CENTRALIA — Scott “Beez” Bieser, 54, of Centralia, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.
He was born October 8, 1968 in Centralia, the son of John Bieser and Shirley (Orr) Bieser.

In addition to his parents: John and Shirley Bieser of Centralia, Scott was also survived by the love of his life: Angie Brown of Centralia; son: Cade Liehr; bonus son: Dakota Korzenewski of Centralia; his sister: Beth Starks and husband Matt of Champaign; three nephews: Logan Starks of Los Angeles, CA, Luke Starks and Duncan Starks both of Champaign; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and his two four legged children: Nitro and Mali .

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: John and Dorothy Bieser, Jack and Marjorie Orr, step-grandmother: Wanda Orr, and two aunts: Rosemary Bieser and Barbara Wharton.

Scott graduated with the Centralia High School Class of 1986. During his high schools years, Scott played Orphan Baseball, Basketball, and Football. As the saying goes, “Once an Orphan always an Orphan”. Scott played baseball for the Centralia American Legion team.  He enjoyed playing golf, bowling,  and playing softball with the “Jono’s crew. Scott was an avid St. Louis Cardinal’s fan. He would go to the car races and was part of the pit crew for Rod Richards and Ryan Timmons.

Scott worked for Arrow Group in Breese, XPO in Salem and he also assisted at Timmons Fast Lane in Central City. He was a member of the Centralia Elks Lodge 493. He was a past volunteer firefighter for the Centralia Fire Protection District Fire Department.

Going on a relaxing motorcycle ride around town or with his friends, sitting with his friends or his family by a bonfire with a cold beer in his hand laughing and telling stories were some of the many things he enjoyed doing. Scott never met a stranger, he would do anything for anyone, his smile, humor and kind heart will be missed by all.

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 10:00 AM Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia with his brother-in-law, Matt Starks, officiating. Per the family’s request, please do not send flowers, instead make a donation in Scott’s honor to the Centralia Humane Society, which will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618)532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Bieser family.
