PATOKA — Amazing Grace Tyler Barker, 51, of Patoka, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

Amazing Grace was born May 24, 1972 in Centralia, the daughter of Donald Fyke and Eva (Elliston) Fyke. She married Danny Barker on October 1, 2015 in Bloomfield, MO, and he survives her in Patoka.

In addition to her husband Danny, she is survived by four children: Richard Dean Higgins, Jr., Linda Tyler, Kevin Eugene Tyler, Jr., and Johnathan Barker; brothers and sisters: Aaron Senn and wife Denise, Jackie Senn and husband Robin Moore, Joseph Senn, Sr. and wife Lisa, Matthew Senn, Sam Fyke and wife Dawn, and Annie Cano and husband Esteban; also surviving is many nieces and nephews.

Amazing Grace was preceded in death by her parents: Donald and Eva Fyke; daughter: Anna Boughers; and an aunt: Kay Boughers.
Amazing Grace was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed fishing and camping. In her past time, she loved coloring and painting. Most of all, she cherished her family over anything else.

A Celebration of Life Service for Amazing Grace Tyler Barker will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 12:00 pm at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia with Pastor Steve Upchurch officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Centralia.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 10:00 am to the time of service at the Funeral Home.
