CREAL SPRINGS — A school bus crash was reported around 3:15 Tuesday afternoon in the 13000 block of Sulpher Springs Road in rural Creal Springs.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived and discovered the school bus driver had lost control of the bus after suffering an apparent medical episode.

The bus, which was occupied by five children, the bus driver, and an assistant left the roadway, traveled through a ditch and came to rest after striking a tree.

The bus driver was taken by ambulance to an area hospital for medical treatment.

One child was also taken by ambulance to an area hospital out of an abundance of caution.

The remaining children were transported to Adams School and reunited with their parents.
