MARION COUNTY — A 33-year-old Sandoval man reportedly took police on a high-speed pursuit shortly after midnight Saturday morning from Central City to his home on East Mississippi Street.

According to reports, Tyler Foster was initially clocked driving 80 miles an hour in a 35-mile-an-hour zone in Central City.

When police attempted to stop Foster, he continued northbound on U.S. Highway 51 into Sandoval with speeds again reaching 80 miles per hour.

Once Foster arrived at his residence on East Mississippi Street, he reportedly ran inside.

The Marion County State’s Attorney’s Office reportedly declined to secure a search warrant to enter Foster’s home, as he was only wanted on traffic violations, so

had Foster’s vehicle towed.
