
CENTRALIA — Edythe Mae (Berger) Keith, 86, of Centralia, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side Sunday, May 26, 2024.
She was born May 9, 1938 in Centralia, the daughter of Delmas and Lorraine (Paddock) Berger. Edythe married Darrell Keith May 5, 1956 in Centralia and he survives. In addition to her husband of 68 years, Darrell Keith, Edythe is survived by her three daughters, Chrystal (Ray), Yvonne (Doug), and Julie (Gary). Edythe had four grandchildren, Curtis (Chrissy), Jenny (Scott), Joshua (Lynelle) and Zackary (Izzy) and six great-grandchildren. One brother, Ron Berger (Vicki), several nieces and nephews and special friends Scharon McCoy, Darlene Ring and Kay and Jerry Bateman.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents which she was very close with, Minnie & Ray Paddock.
Edythe worked for the American Greeting Card Company and later Salem Walmart for many years before retiring. She loved her Florida vacations where she would sit on the beach and read and relax. She was a St. Louis Cardinals fan. Edythe loved her family and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Graveside services will be held for Edythe on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Centralia at 1:30 PM with Pastor Joannie Naraghi officiating.
