SOUTHERN ILLINOIS – The National Weather Service in Paducah says after surveying damage caused by Friday night’s severe weather in Williamson County, their preliminary determination is the damage is consistent with an EF-3 tornado with maximum wind speeds of 165 mph.
An EF-1 with peak winds of 90 mph was reported in southeast Saline County. An EF-2 with peak winds of 115 mph was reported in far southeast Saline County, and across southern Gallatin County.
There were no reports of injuries or deaths from the storms.
