Julia Ann Donoho of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

Julia was born on June 22, 1957, in Chicago the daughter of the Rev. Sidney Preston Coady and Loretta V. (Vanderpool) Coady.

She was a devoted student of God’s Word and an ordained minister, she loved the Lord and in her younger years, joyfully shared her gift of music as a singer. She deeply cherished her family including her son, Matthew Weems, his wife Amanda, and her grandchildren, Hosea and Hope who brought her immeasurable joy.

She shared a strong and loving bond with her surviving siblings—Tanya Dubberly of Lakeland, Florida; Tom Coady and wife Karen of Gans, Oklahoma, and James Coody of Alexandria, Louisiana—who, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends, will deeply miss her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, the Rev. Sidney Preston Coady and Loretta V. Coady; a sister, Vallie Shirrel; and a brother, Sidney Coady.

A Funeral Service for Julia Ann Donoho will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, September 8, 2025, at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Tracy Bennett officiating.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of the service.  Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to Mission Salem and can be received at the funeral home.  Online condolences can be left at www.CrouseFH.com.
