David Webster, age 71 of Salem, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital on St. Louis.

David was born on February 15, 1955, in Flora, IL the son of Carl and Barbara (Brown) Webster.  He married Tammy (Rogers) Webster in 1983 and she survives in Salem.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Barbara Webster of Centralia; children, Amanda Gardner and husband Russ of Centralia, Derek Webster of Salem, William Webster of Salem, and Danielle Burroughs and husband Greg of Jerseyville; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sister, Lisa Nail and husband Dennis of Centralia; and brother, Jim Webster and wife Rhonda of Robinson.

He was preceded in death by father, Carl Webster; and a brother, Tom Webster.

David worked for many years in Bio Med at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.  Prior to that he had worked for Rockwell/Meridian, North American Lighting, and Graphic Packaging.  David will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
