A short-term closure is planned the week of March 16 on S. 42nd Street in Mt. Vernon. Access to nearby businesses will remain open and a detour will be in place.

Road work is scheduled for in front of the Fire Department on S. 42nd Street during the week of March 16, weather permitting. This work will require a temporary road closure in that area.

Access Information:

• Traffic heading south on S. 42nd Street will still have access to Cusumano Professional Plaza Drive.
• Traffic heading north on S. 42nd Street will still have access to GenFed Credit Union.
• Detour Route:\
  Motorists should use Mateer Drive to S. 44th Street to travel around the closure.

  Please use caution when traveling in the area and allow extra time for your commute during this work.
