Janice (Marks) Fuller, age 88, passed into the arms of Jesus on March 29, 2026 at the home of her daughter in Salem.

She was born on January 1, 1938 to Paul and Hazel Marks and grew up in Marion, IL. She married C. Ray Fuller on October 19, 1957. They served the Lord in ministry to churches in Illinois and Texas until their retirement. They retired to Bibleville in south Texas where they continued to use their gifts to serve the Lord and others. They enjoyed 58 years of marriage before Ray preceded her in death on March 7, 2016.

Janice was the life of every party. From the time she was young, she loved talking to people and entertaining them with her stories. She enjoyed writing and performing skits at church and most recently at Bibleville where she performed as the character Hattie Horsecollar.

Janice is survived by her two children, Brian (Pam) Fuller of Justin, TX and Denice (Stephen) Phillips of Salem, IL, four grandchildren, Zachary Phillips, Alex Phillips, Meredith Fuller, and Elizabeth Fuller, four great-grandchildren Baker, Emery, Isaac, and Austin, and a sister, Brenda (Richard) Hay. She was dearly loved by her family and was the very best Mom and Memaw.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers and one sister.

There will be no local services held. Burial will be at a later date in the Dallas National Cemetery alongside her husband. Memorials for Janice Fuller can be made to the Illinois Baptist Children’s Home in Carmi, IL or to Bibleville Conference Grounds in Alamo, TX and can be received at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem who is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences can be left at www.CrouseFH.com
