FAYETTE COUNTY A 34-year-old Farina man being held in the Fayette County Jail for allegedly kidnapping his son is now facing additional charges of damaging government property stemming from an incident that occurred at the jail last week.

Darrel K. Moulton made a scheduled appearance in court this week for a pre-trial hearing on a charge of Aggravated Kidnapping of a Victim Under the age of 13.
The pre-trial hearing in that case was continued until March 3. However, Moulton was returned to court later that afternoon on charges he knowingly damaged government property in that he allegedly “removed R-board and foam insulation from a wall at the jail and flushed the r-board down the toilet, causing flooding and major plumbing issues, said damage being less than $500.
Moulton is now charged with two Class 4 felony counts Criminal Damage to Government Supported Property.
A second man, 34-year old Tyler J. Dunaway, of Vandalia, is charged with two counts of Criminal Damage to Government Supported Property in connection with the same alleged incident.
Information given by the State during the presentation of probable cause by the state on Tuesday afternoon stated that Dunaway was the roommate of Darrel K. Moulton.
