NASHVILLE — The Illinois Department of Transportation is alerting the public that Interstate 64 from east of Exit 41 to the west of Exit 61 in Nashville will have various lane restrictions in each direction starting September 13, weather permitting.
One lane of traffic will remain open at all times, and overnight lane closures should be expected. This work is necessary to complete pavement repairs and place new pavement markings. Work is anticipated to be completed by the end of November 2018.
IDOT advises motorists to follow all construction sighns and drive with caution through the work zones. Delays should be expected and the use of alternate routes may be beneficial.
