BOND COUNTY — A 27-year old Greenville man has been charged in Bond County court with two counts of first-degree murder the death of a two-month old infant.

James Andrew Hickman is accused of shaking the two-month old baby “knowing that such act created a strong probability of death” and thereby causing the death of the infant who passed away in a St. Louis area hospital on Sunday.

Each count is punishable by 20 to 60 years in prison. Hickman is being held in the Bond County Jail with bail set at $2 million.
