SALEM – A Salem woman has been subsequently charged with two counts of Forgery stemming from the same stolen check case reported by the Salem Police Department Thursday.

Police say 36-year-old Bryttany Hester voluntarily came to the police department Friday to speak with a detective. She reportedly forged two of the three checks that were cashed by TJ Wilkins. Hester was seen on security video with Wilkins at the time they were cashed.
Wilkins was charged Thursday with three counts of Forgery in this case. He was already in custody at the Marion County Jail for unrelated charges. The incident happened late last month.
