Marilyn was an avid bowler, and for many years, the lanes were her second home. She loved the game not only for the sport, but for the friendships, laughter, and memories it brought her. Beyond bowling, she found happiness in the simple pleasures-family dinners, heartfelt conversations, and the comfort of being surrounded by those she loved most.
To her family, Marilyn was more than just a mother and grandmother-she was the steady rock, the warm embrace, and the guiding voice of wisdom. All of her grandchildren, will forever carry her spirit forward, honoring the lessons she taught and the love she so freely gave.
Marilyn leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and family devotion that will live on in every life she touched. Though her presence will be deeply missed, her memory will remain a treasure to all who knew her.
Marilyn loved her faith and was a member of the Mount Vernon Bowling Association along with the Mount Vernon Moose Auxiliary and Amvets Auxiliary. She spent time showing horses and was a certified bowling instructor, spending her time coaching our youth in bowling, softball and basketball.
