Marjorie Ann Cozart (nee Curtis), age 93, went home peacefully to be with her Lord on February 1, 2026 in Port Charlotte, FL.
Beloved mother of Kathy Bravo (Mike), Robert Cozart (Tina);  devoted grandmother to Nicole Cozart, Michael Bravo III (Amy), Brett Bravo (Missy), Jessica Lockenvitz (Michael), Christina Bowder (Nick) and to her great-grandchildren Anthony and Cameron Sanders, Mira, Ward and Lincoln Bravo, David Huff, Gabriella and Zachary Mitchell, Millie and Bentley Atterberry.
She is also survived by her best friends Sharon Morelli and Penny Jaskoviak and former spouse Robert Cozart.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers John L. Curtis and Robert E. Curtis.
Marjorie was born June 14, 1932 to the late Frank and Stella (nee Leach) Curtis.  She was born and raised in Mt. Vernon, IL and moved to Lockport in 1959 where she spent most of her adult life.  She moved to Carlock, IL for 18 years to be closer to her son, and lived briefly in California before settling in Port Charlotte.
She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and First Nazarene Church.  She was a successful real estate agent, retiring after 25 years at Coldwell Banker Honig-Bell.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She loved God, her family, her beloved dog Chloe, shopping, diet coke, going to the beach, lounging at the pool and eating her favorite food, shrimp.
Visitation for Marjorie will be held Monday, February 9 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, with a Celebration of Life immediately following at Hughey Funeral Home, 1314 Main St., Mt. Vernon.  Interment will be held at Oakwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to Tidewell Hospice, 3550 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL  34239 would be greatly appreciated.
