Authorities across Marion County report several arrests and investigations. In Sandoval, 59 year old Gail Williams was arrested on home invasion and criminal damage charges. Centralia police arrested 23 year old Zykevious Burnett of Calumet City on charges including aggravated battery with strangulation and criminal sexual abuse. Two others were jailed on failure-to-appear warrants, while deputies are also investigating a vehicle burglary on Edgebrook Lane. In Salem, firefighters handled a small yard fire that did not threaten a nearby home.
