FRANKLIN COUNTY — Three Franklin County men were arrested Tuesday after Sesser Police along with the Southern Illinois Drug Task Force served a search warrant at a home in Sesser which yielded materials consistent with the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Police say 27-year-old Keith A. Martin and Michael A. Depler, both of Sesser, and 37-year-old Joseph D. Gouge of Buckner are in the Franklin County Jail. Formal charges are pending.

Sesser Mayor Jason Ashmore says he thanks both groups for their hard work and long hours on this investigation.

Ashmore says his administration will not tolerate those that participate in this type of illegal activity.

He sees it as a serious safety and health issue for the community and will continue to aggressively pursue those committing these crimes.
