MARION COUNTY — A 50-yer-old Sandoval man was sentenced to 10-years in prison after he pleaded guilty Wednesday in Marion County court to charges against him in two separate cases.

Wallace Kaufman has been held in the Marion County Jail since his August 2017 arrest for Class 2 felony aiding and abetting the possession of a stolen vehicle, Class 3 felony possession of less than 5-grams of methamphetamine and Class 4 felony possession of a controlled substance.
Kaufman pleaded guilty to the Class 4 felony charge and was sentenced to 2-years in the Illinois Department of Corrections to be followed by one-year mandatory supervised release. He will receive day-for-day credit and credit for time served.
The sentence will run consecutive to an 8-year sentence handed down Wednesday in a 2016 case charging him with Class 1 felony aggravated delivery of meth, and two Class 4 felony counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Kaufman pleaded guilty in that case to the Class 1 felony in exchange for the other two charges being dismissed.
Charges from a 2015 Marion County case charging Kaufman with two counts Class 2 felony meth possession were also dismissed per the plea agreement.
