ILLINOIS (RFD) — The winner of the billion-dollar Mega Millions Jackpot still hasn’t identified themselves. The Illinois lottery says the winner or winners so far haven’t reached out. Harold Mays, Director of the Illinois Lottery, says if the winner chooses the lump-sum they will collect $780 million before taxes.

The winner has 12 months to identify themselves, but they need to decide in the first 60 days if they want their winnings in a lump sum or paid out over a 30-year period.
