Bonita Kluck, 85, of Ina, Illinois, passed away at 10:05 am August 3, 2022 at her residence.

She was born October 7, 1936 in Palmer, Tennessee to the late Lester and Ella (Cookston) Tate. Bonita married Jackie Kluck on August 21, 1955 in Mount Vernon, Illinois. They were blessed with nearly 60 years of marriage before his passing on January 6, 2015.  Bonita is survived by her children, Rickey Kluck and wife, Sandra of Bluford, Illinois, Rhonda Loman and husband, Jim of Bonnie, Illinois, and Pamela Hicks and husband, Mark of Mount Vernon; grandchildren, Chad Kluck and wife, Heidi of Ina, Mark Hicks and wife, Sarah of Mount Vernon, Jason Hicks and wife, Laura of Mount Vernon, Jamie Hart of Ina, IL, Kyle Kluck and wife, Tiffany of Scheller, Illinois Matthew Hicks and wife, Jennifer of Mount Vernon, Kole Kluck and wife, Sarah of Mount Vernon, Shannon Loman and wife, Brittany of Mount Vernon, and Jedidiah Loman and wife, Tabitha of Mount Vernon; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren, Aaron Smith and wife, Lauren of Springfield, Illinois and Andrea Smith of Mount Vernon, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Bonita was preceded in death by her siblings, Henry “Deard” Tate, Robert “Dewey” Tate, Pete Tate, JB Tate, Zada Orrick, Evelyn Ziarnek, Lois Hayes, S. Grace Smith, Jessie Morrison, Naomi Cullins, and Geneva Tate. Bonita worked at Good Samaritan Hospital for 27 years. She attended the Harlan Road Church of God. Bonita never met a stranger. She was loving and kind to everyone she met. In her spare time, Bonita enjoyed camping and cooking at the campsite. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and adored her.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 8, 2022 at 11:00 am at Hughey Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Campbell and Reverend Ted Anderson officiating.
