SALEM — A 30-year-old Salem woman as airlifted this morning from Salem Township Hospital to a regional hospital after being run over by her boyfriend in his van during an argument.

According to Salem police, the incident took place right around midnight Monday morning at the home the couple share on Oglesby in Salem, where 30-year-old Crystal Easley reportedly fell while pounding on the window of the van driven by 39-year-old Brady Vermass.

As Vermass began pulling away, Easley reportedly fell and was run over by one of the rear wheels of the van.

Vermass was cited by Salem Police for reckless driving and disregarding the stop sign at the intersection of Oglesby and North Broadway.
